Spring/Summer 2020 Copenhagen Fashion Week just finished one week ago. We are proud of both the buzz it’s having among the media, and the growing international focus on Scandinavia and the local fashion industry.
Despite the international decreasing trend of buyers attending Trade Shows, on the opposite weight pan of the scale we can see still a sales growth. Trade shows confirm themselves to be the right beam to support and link both sides.
When it comes to the Nordic market, we are pleased to see international buyers still flocking to Copenhagen, the Danish capital which confirmed itself as regional reference for the Fashion industry. The city is currently the expression of the Scandinavian design-driven culture and environmental awareness approach to lifestyle, from furnitures and interior design to healthy living and food.
All this increasing focus on the region is confirmed by two of the main lifestyle online media, Highsnobiety and HYPEBEAST, that dedicated some articles to talk about Copenhagen Fashion Week, highlighting some of the eye-catching brands.
Henrik Vibskov’s “Stuck Under The Surface” collection took place also in Copenhagen after its Parisian premiere; second-ever mfpen‘s runway presented a SS20 seasons changing collection (as written by us here); Soulland came back to the runway after a 5 years hiatus (presenting also a Nike SB new collabo); PSEUDONYM had their prime at CPHFW debuting a five-sensory inspired collection.
