When the cult menswear-label Band of Outsiders unveiled their AW17 collection at London Fashion Week: Men’s, the brand offered the first look at their collaborations with two other Revolver-family members: Danish PackMack and Swedish Stutterheim.
The latest show follows the brand’s tradition of wanting to present its clothes in a fun and different manner. Although Christmas and New Year’s have just passed, this selection offers numerous red and green pieces that suggest it’s never too early to start thinking of the holidays and time with family. In addition, the winter motifs are carried on via polar bear covered shirts and pants as well as tops that feature a skier graphic. Conclusively, a range of solid color-blocked top and bottom options are also arranged alongside a camo jacket and jeans combination for those in search of a slightly more parred back appearance.
Hypebeast caught up with Band of Outsiders’ head designer Angelo Van Mol to discuss what to expect from this season’s collaborations:
The team has always been a fan of Stutterheim and so we reached out to them, which led to a great product combining our FW18 prints and their famous rain-coats. Another collaboration we did this season was with PackMack, who make amazing lightweight breathable jackets – a perfect addition to our collection.
