A new festival has arrived in Copenhagen. The name is “HAVEN” and the concept is curated by Aaron and Bryan Dessner of The Nationals in collaboration with the Danish food pioneer Claus Meyer, whom recently opened a nordic restaurant in the Grand Central Terminal in New York City.
They have teamed up to create new experiences from their own art forms, namely beer, food, art and music, bringing these ingredients together at one festival. Each experience strives to be independent, sensitive, and is carefully handpicked to support the next. The festival is aimed to be as much a sophisticated beer festival with international live music, as it is an art festival, with roast suckling pigs and world renowned guest chefs, or a music festival that takes place in the middle of one large artistic installation created in collaboration between the brewers, musicians, chefs and performance artists from all over world.
HAVEN is a two-day festival on August 11th and 12th at Refshaleøens industrial and wild setting with three main areas, all overlooking the city and harbor. The Nationals, Iggy Pop, Band Of Horses, Feist, Chance The Rapper and SBRKT among others is already announced. What do you wait for?
