“The Cube Project” is a movable feast of modern arts and culture created by DEADWOOD. In early February The Cube will activate as a part of the Revolver International Trade Show in Copenhagen, Denmark.
NYC based artist James Concannon will enter and change our views towards live performance right in front of the observers eyes. James Concannon was raised on the east coast of the United States. His early discovery of punk rock, skateboarding, and graffiti steadily influenced his aesthetics, both in rearing and currently. Concannon is an internationally recognized fine artist, known for his controversial imagery and hyper immersive environments, often created solely with discarded materials and detritus the artist finds on his journeys. As well, James Concannon “moonlights” as a clothing designer and in the past few years has gained a steady following in the Hollywood Elite. Whether it be Lady Gaga posting numerous instagram selfies in his shirts to an unassuming jacket hanging in the closet of cult legend Chloe Sevigny, Concannon has been dressing pop cultures most celebrated individuals. James and DEADWOOD is a love affair that has been going on for the last 3 years doing various shows and collaborations together.
Hope to see you at Øksnehallen on February 1st 2017. The show starts at 14:00 following a silent auction with the pieces created with all proceeds going towards the JDRF (Type 1 Diabetes Research Funding and Advocacy)
