Birrot – founded in Copenhagen in spring 2018 by Kyeongmin Kim and Seyoung Hong – is off to a strong start for the AW20 season.
The young brand is kicking off the season with a mention on Vogue Runway:
“Birrot is a new label for the Scandi-minimalism enthusiast. Founded in 2018 by Danish-Korean designers Kyeongmin Kim and Seyoung Hong, the brand offers easy dresses, tops, trousers, and trench coats, all made using technical fabrics. They use traditional Korean and Japanese pattern-cutting skills and only produce in limited-edition capsules each season. Theirs is a clean, well-edited collection that redefines the traditional notions of Scandinavian minimalism with new materials and new techniques.”
